Dr Jennifer Papoutsis has extensive experience in both adult and paediatric neuropsychology. Her clinical interests fall into three broad categories. Firstly, she has significant experience in the assessment of cognitive and behaviour changes in the context of adult/paediatric brain impairment. Secondly, she has provided counseling and support services to children and family members to develop psychological and emotional resilience in both typically and non-typically developing children. Thirdly, she provides educational assessments in children utilizing her extensive understanding of cognitive frameworks to develop strategies to maximise learning potential
Dr Papoutsis continues to be involved in research, having published in peer reviewed journals and she has presented at National and International conferences. She was a lead in setting up the first ever frontotemporal dementia carer support group in the Barwon region. Dr Papoutsis is registered with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency with endorsement in clinical neuropsychology. She is a registered supervisor.
